I think this is a record. I've been in the community for less than two months and I'm making a post on ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) youareamazing. Go figure! But seriously. This whole community has just been awesome. I was looking for one specific storyline when I was posting madly in rps and I was recruited, honestly, because there was one person in the community I was looking for. As it turns out, nothing ever came of that storyline, but now I have so many fantastic IC friendships that I just have to brag about and thank you for. So here goes.
hankscolin - THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. lmao. You dragged me here. But really. You'll be the first one on my list because really, Colin was the only one that talked to Rachael, and gave a shit. And tried to be her friend. They've been such a sweet pair of friends and no matter how many times I go dead on the IM (sorry I'm so distracted!) I know that Col will say, "dead." and I'll be like, "shit!" And type up something really fast. But it's just the way that they can talk about the most random shit and laugh about it, and have real arguments like they would have when they were dating, and it's just great. ♥
flwrs - OH. My god. So I found those new pictures of Brandon on ONTD and was ogling for like, TWENTY MINUTES. And I felt weird because I was like, ennnhh, that means Rachael was ogling for like, twenty minutes. But then I chose not to write that out because how weird would that be? I love your Brandon though. I'm actually planning on seeing them live in January in Chicago, and I'm so much more pumped now than before. I'm glad that she can come to him about a lot of stuff that's been happening lately, and they can talk openly. And he's really fucking funny when he's drunk--or rather, when you're drunk, so I hear. And lucky you--you got to witness the same thing out of me, at least for a while until I ate something. :] But I totally adore their friendship. ♥
spearsb - We are total fucking bad asses. Seriously. Their ninja gang is awesome. AND FOR THE RECORD--they have a ninja gang. The community Rachael made is a ninja club, so technically they're still different. I love how they have rival gangs though. Like they're all gonna go dance-fight West Side Story style, and snap at each other. Except Rach and Brit are fucking ninjas. We really do need a third member though. Let's get on that! In the meantime, I love your Britney. She's adorable and a little spacey and so funny, and not fucking nuts. Keep it up, as if you need me to tell you. :] ♥
mccoysc - I cannot possibly look at the word possum without thinking of nasty things. Quite like puppies. Even though that second one was not Sandy. And they haven't talked very frequently until recent but Rachael adores Sandy...and is excited to have her come over and help decorate for the party. Hopefully they'll take this chance to get to hang out and giggle about some more stuff. And I'm sorry I don't have more to say, but that's only because they have so much they need to talk about! :] Sandy's a sweetie though, and Rachael adores her. ♥
eliwood - You know, if your power hadn't gone out, I'd have typed this tomorrow when everyone else was at work and I wasn't! But now that we're not scening, OMG! I'm doing it now! Haha. In all seriousness, this whole thing so far that's happening between them is just the cutest thing ever, and completely unexpected. And they're hilarious. It feels like I've written with you before, but I don't know if I actually have. That's a pretty neat feeling, considering I've only been around for a short time and talking to Elijah for about a month. Nonetheless, I'm really excited that they're getting to hang out so much and enjoy each other. And you're pretty damn awesome. Just be careful talking about musical instruments, because SERIOUSLY I am the hugest music nerd ever. Hahaha. As we saw today. :P Love you dear. ♥

I should have put her in with the other praise, but it's a different community and a different person. She deserves, they both do, their own little praise spot.
For writing the equivalant of a four star hotel with a two star pub and making me smile...
For keeping the thoughts internal and sensable without panting after Peter...(even though I know you do...)
For making her imperfect in the most perfect way...

For the journal layout that is snazzy as they come...

For keeping my attention and doing something interesting with me...

Because her work is near genius. Because she works so hard to make everyone happy, even at her own expense. Because she is breaking out of a mold and braving the big bad world of imperfect women.
Because her ideas are the creme de la creme and her mind works like a creative masterpiece.
Because I would follow her into any community she makes...

So I hadn't planned on typing up a long big-to-do, just a short one mentioning a few favorites. But I figure while I'm sitting here with some time to kill, I may as well just make this about everyone I like! Originally bringing Audrina in, I honestly didn't think she'd last. I picked up this role on a whim. I watch The Hills (like the rest of lame america that secretly does) and Audrina is the only one on there I can actually stand. Even though her relationship with Justin Bobby...good grief. Haha, but we won't go there. I just have to say, she has been so welcomed at CAA. She made a lot of friends fast..friends that keep me signing on and logging in everyday. I can't really say I was that surprised, since CAA is home to me in other forms. But I went in with the mindset that this was sort of a trial run. Needless to say, I love CAA. Both as Audrina and others. She's definitely been a fun role for me though, and I have found her quite easy to play. I only hope I am doing her some justice. Honestly if you watch interviews with her, or even the show, the girl doesn't have a mean bone in her body. So I try to just stick to that. Anyways... enough about my role as AP. This is for all of you. The talented writers. The ones who stay up into the wee hours talking to my girl. The awesome Mods who keep this place running fairly and smoothly. Who have allowed me to bring more than one role to CAA. You guys are TRULY amazing.
And because I am a perfectionist, this will be in alphabetical order. So, ( CreativeArtists, get your praise. )

This is love for greatwhiteway! I've been there since the beginning (with five different characters; two that are currently active, one on a hiatus and two that I have dropped) and I have not regretted a second of it! It's a fantastic community with very dedicated writers and very active writers. I know I haven't had a chance to play with all of you but I hope that I do at some point. So, for now, individual praise!

convene,
i joined as selena on a huge whim one night because i love her and wanted to play her somewhere, anywhere, and really didn't expect anything of it because thus far i only have one comm where i've been at over a year, and the character i play there is nothing like selena! i kept an open mind, of course, and then basically loved it instantly. it was great to see such an active friends page, constantly moving - even if we all tend to abuse the lyrics comm on a daily basis. it's been five monthish since i've been there, and honestly it has honestly been one of my favorite places, ever. the community is so inviting, and obviously we all had to deal with stupid drama but in what situations do we not? it's been so great. anyways! look at me, rambling on.
( now then, let's get on with the love! )

You will have been around for 6 months on November 19th. To me that’s amazing that a community as different and amazing as this could stick around for this long! What makes this community amazing: writers who are not afraid to go outside of the box, to try new and different things, you don’t care about what’s popular but you care about having fun with this. I think we’ll all agree with me and say that roleplay just isn’t the same anymore. But at Lucasfilm, we remember that its just a game and have fun with it. Not to mention I don’t think I’ve seen a bad writer come to this community. You are all thoughtful and research your characters well.

This is one of those things that I've been thinking about doing for a while now but I never got around to it. They say that it's better to give flowers to the living so consider this my way of doing so.
I had been looking for a faux-celeb community for some time but could never find one that I felt I would fit into. I had seen the ads for greatwhiteway and since I've always loved Broadway, I found myself thinking about it. At the time though I had a lot going on OOC and I simply didn't have time. Then this summer, at the encouragement of a friend, I decided to take a chance and put in an application. I have never regreted that. So here you go, some praise from me and my kids to you.

This turned out to be a lot longer than I intended but know that it comes from the heart. Thanks to all of you for making greatwhiteway so much fun. I love you all!

I could probably sit here and spend a good half hour or so picking out several individual writers, both of whom I have played with/talked with and who I haven't so much as sent a single IM to but believe to be amazing writers. I don't see a point in doing that, to be honest with you. If I were to pick out individual names I would have to go to my friends list and copy every. single. name. There isn't a single person that I feel like if I wanted too, I couldn't send an IM to. Our characters may not even know one another, they may not even be the kind to get along...but I still wouldn't feel like I COULDN'T if I wanted too. I've never been in a community so friendly in my entire years of roleplaying. In almost every community...there is at least a handful of writers that stick with their own little circle of friends. They don't branch out and they don't care too. Here? I don't see that. tegesta, you are all amazing, you are all friendly, you all kick some major fucking ass. Thank you and I'm going back to bed.
